Coverage for AMI auto insurance ranges from AMI Private Vehicle Coverage, AMI Third Party Fire and Theft Coverage, and AMI Third Party Coverage. AMI’s Third Party Fire and Theft policy covers as much as $20 million worth of damage to another property or car. For third party involvement, AMI provides $3,000 coverage as long as the name and the car registration of the uninsured third party is provided.
AMI offers two levels for house coverage insurance. The AMI Premiere house policy provides full replacement of your house. The scheme provides replacement to same floor area, and if repairs can be done, the house is restored to its original condition.
The AMI Market Value house insurance policy considers wear and tear. There is no need to wait for a catastrophe before you can have repairs done. This is an economical option for individuals who want to insure older homes, rental properties, and holiday homes. AMI also provides coverage for building a new house or home alterations.
AMI Insurance has three levels for contents coverage. The AMI Advanced Contents policy allows the replacement or repair of household items at today’s replacement value.
AMI’s Advanced Contents Cover is the highest level of protection for your contents. Almost any household item is covered under this policy, regardless how old it is.
The AMI Premier Contents Insurance Coverage replaces and pays for the repair of larger household items such as carpets, curtains and furniture; however, there will be some caps on the age of these items.
AMI Standard Contents policy pays market value for damage or loss of household contents in the event of fire, storm, flood, or theft. For your artwork and antiques, jewelry, expensive equipment, and other valuable collections, you do not need any other policy. These are also covered if you provide proof of ownership and a list of your valuables to be included in the insurance policy.
AMI Insurance offers boat insurance and covers equipment and fittings, accidental damage or loss. To qualify for the claim, the boat has to be within NZ and be no further than 50 km off shore. The AMI boat insurance policy provides up to $300,000 cover should you damage another individual’s property or boat while using your own.
